Image Processing and Analysis Workshop
Monash University Malaysia Optical Imaging Platform, in collaboration with the A*STAR Microscopy Platform (AMP) Singapore, is pleased to host a Fiji (ImageJ) software training at Monash University Malaysia. Please find the agenda, dates, and venue details below. This training spans three afternoons, and participants are required to bring their own laptops and mouse. Additionally, please ensure the Fiji software is installed and functioning on your computer prior to the start of the course.

Target audience:
● People who want to learn scientific image processing and analysis for biological sciences using Fiji (ImageJ).
Learning objectives:
1. Concept of digital imaging and image quality
2. Scientific image integrity
3. Scientific image file formats
4. Histogram, brightness and contrast
5. Calibration and annotations (scale bar, LUT and time stamp)
6. Filtering, segmentation and machine learning (StarDist)
7. Measurements
8. Introduction to macro writing
Outcome:
● Participants will be able to apply the skill and knowledge learned to do image processing and analysis onto their own data.
