8th Asian Association of Schools of Pharmacy (AASP) Pharmacy Education Forum 2026

Background of the Forum:

The Asian Association of Schools of Pharmacy (AASP), established in April 2001, is dedicated to strengthening unity among pharmacy institutions across Asia (including Australasia) and improving the quality of pharmacy education and training. AASP fosters collaboration, resource sharing, and professional exchange among educators, researchers, practitioners, and students within the region. One of its signature activities is the Pharmacy Education Forum, first launched in 2011, which serves as an important platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and collaborative advancement of pharmacy education in Asia.

The 8th AASP Pharmacy Education Forum 2026 hosted by Monash University Malaysia, co-organised by Monash University Malaysia and AASP, continues this tradition by focusing on innovation, digital transformation, and the evolving competencies required of future pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists.

●        Pharmaceutical and health sciences researchers

●        Pharmacy practitioners

●        Pharmacy and pharmaceutical science students

●        Education technologists and academic leaders

The 8th AASP Pharmacy Education Forum 2026 will explore contemporary and forward-looking themes, such as

●        Integrating tradition with emerging education technologies

●        Digital health, simulation, and virtual learning innovations

●        Interprofessional education (IPE) and collaborative practice

●        Global health competencies and future-ready pharmacy training

●        Bridging didactic learning with experiential training

●        Advances in pharmaceutical sciences education delivery

Registration & Registration Fee:

●        The forum registration fee, in RM, is inclusive of:

○        Access to all sessions

○        Conference materials

○        Daily lunches and coffee breaks

○        Forum Dinner on 3 December

●        The fee paid is non-refundable, but the registered participant may nominate a substitute.

●        Acceptance of registration will be notified by email.

●        Registrant's accompanying person(s) may attend the 3 December Forum Dinner by registering separately and paying a fee of RM150 per person.

Others:

●        Daily lunches and teas and 3 Dec Forum Dinner will be provided for the Forum participants.

●        Language to be used will be in English.
